Top Places To Visit In Venice
This summer my family and I decided to visit Italy, one of my favourite stops was definitely Venice because it was hella pretty and so aesthetically pleasing for instagram pics if you know what I mean ;) Here are some of the top places I loved in Venice that I deffo think you should stop by if you're visiting!
1. St. Mark's Basilica
My family and I are so into religious and ancient architecture, so this was a must!
I enjoyed seeing the church from the inside and hearing all about the history of Saint Mark etc.. my family and I got a private walk in tour which is what I recommend to anyone that wants easy access to the church without having to stand in long lines and if you want a full explanation of every detail inside the church itself (highly recommend otherwise you won't get anything ahahah). photography isn't allowed inside so I unfortunately couldn't get cool shots of the beauty Inside but you can always google it ;)
2. Palazzo Ducale
This is how the castle looks like from outside, as you can tell it is very fancy and ancient looking

Also if you love taking pictures, this is the place to go because it has many beautiful things to take pictures of and with!
3. The Gondola Ride
This Gondola ride was probably my favourite thing I've done in Venice just because it took me all around the inner cute streets and apartments in Venice, that could not be accessed by just walking.
4. Watching The Sunset
If I had to chose my favourite city i've been to in Italy, it would probably be Venice because of how pretty and aesthetically pleasing everything is, my favourite activity to do everyday was to stand on any of their pretty bridges and take a couple of sunset shots of the buildings and the sky! (lowkey wanna go back as I am typing this atm).
5. St. Mark's Square
I had the best time just sitting in coffee shops and listening to live bands playing music while drinking coffee and I recommend that If you go there as well, that you go and feed the pigeons all around the square and the coffee shops.
